Blessed is he that expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed. ~ Benjamin Franklin.
Once again we see the blessings of those who give their all, without wanting anything in return, as the energy of Blissland fills the hearts of many with the peace that only spirit can bring. When we work hard and dream big we can see opportunities unfold before us and the beauty of everything around us is brighter and happier. Working with the energies of purpose, passion and power through knowledge of the self, connection to the earth and an understanding of Divine Spirit is a clear way to treasure every moment of the present rather than feel what has happened in the past or concern ourselves with the possibilities of the future.
We can all be forgiven for feeling the negativity of world events when we see or hear the news, particularly if it involves our loved ones, but there are blessings in being able to see the beauty of humble things where others are unable to see anything of value. Finding our own spiritual path can lead us to a balance and harmony that few can appreciate and even less emulate particularly where and when religion is so powerful. It may seem unfair to feel blessed when we see so many around us that aren’t and they perhaps do even more to help others, yet the feelings of appreciation and gratitude can’t be simply transmuted.
Making time and room in every day just to play can bring us back to our instinctive, intuitive, innocence that should reign supreme in the hearts of how we live. When we receive so much from the very ground we live on and the things around us, unless we can see the value in all that is and all that we are, how will we ever be without stress? It’s not even hard, it’s just about being thankful.
Blissland’s blessings are bountiful xx.
